Hearst Benefits

Hearst offers its employees a comprehensive benefits program that focuses on supporting physical, financial, emotional and family wellbeing. Part of my role as a designer on the corporate creative team is to help promote the services that are available to the employee’s benefit. This includes designing monthly newsletters and print material/mailers.

Following the brand guidelines established by Hearst Benefits lead designer and senior art director, Emily Visich, I assisted with creating static and animated graphics to promote each of the 4 pillars of wellbeing: physical, financial, emotional and family.

Company: Hearst

Role: Graphic Designer

Impact: Designed informative newsletters which are sent on a monthly basis to a 10K distribution list. Average 50% open rate & 10% CTR.

Print Materials

Every year, various guides are designed to list all the updated benefits available to employees ranging from financial programs such as tuition reimbursement, fertility coverage, mental wellbeing programs such as complimentary therapy sessions and more.

I also designed a trifold postcard which is mailed to 10,000 colleagues every year with an overview of updated benefits.

Newsletter Graphics

Newsletters are sent on a monthly basis. Images were created to illustrate the topics highlighted for that issue.

Each pillar is color coordinated - green for financial wellbeing, blue for physical wellbeing,
purple for mental wellbeing, and yellow for family wellbeing.
